View from the Beltway

From the politcal insider newsletter by Chris Nelson, this morning:

With The Beltway Primary tomorrow (Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia) the stage seems set for a consensus anointment of Barack Obama as the front-runner over Hillary Clinton...IF he can take Virginia.

Obama's stunning "sweep" over the weekend may answer concerns he "couldn't win the white vote". Some of the most interesting commentary on the Dems race is now coming from Republicans (see Peggy Noonan in the WSJ, and Bill Kristol in the Times).

A new "debate" is taking shape - is Obama in danger of creating a cult of personality which cannot meet expectations? Are "Billary" capable of a graceful defeat, or will they take the Dems down with them?

I am not sure what a "cult of personality which cannot meet expectations" means but, I am glad the canard about a firewall in Hawaii is not working.
