It's been a week? How are you feeling?
What are you doing?
Have you stopped celebrating yet?
Any advice for the first family?
What will you work on/ think about next? I am doing some food politics writing and thinking. How about you?
I am also getting ready for our big Thanksgiving dinners at my Tokyo Restaurant. We are the home away from home for many turkey and stuffing starved Americans every year.
So one week in to the transition... how is your transition going?

Speaking of Food

Here's a wonderful late summer early fall dish that is the lunch special at my restaurant this week. This is a grilled Sanma(mackerel pike in English) served with veggies, lotus root, and a yuzu shoyu (soy) sauce. Healthy, low carb, flavorful. (if a bit high in sodium).
This is a really tasty, healthy dish. Served with 5 grain rice this one is perfect for the changing seasons. Yum.
What's cooking at your home or favorite restaurant?
