Then Who?

Ok gnb guys and gals, let's for a moment erase all thoughts (either elated or fearful) of the dream/nightmare ticket. There was a bit of this in the last thread-- but I put it to you directly: Who would be a great VP choice if Senator Obama is our nominee and why? (not in contrast to Hillary just on their own merits)

Who can bring Obama more states to the table?
Who can help heal the party?
Who do we trust a heart beat away from the presidency?
Who can help us win in Nov.?
