Travel Day

The Weapons Are Polished

One of the truths of a musician's life is that days when you all celebrate, party, and do other significant stuff are days at the office for us.

This is a big ass Narcotics Anonymous convention and I'm backing two performers who have some impressive time clean and sober. I have 16 years, these guys make me look like a beginner.

I have noted with pride that I am the only backing player to land both gigs. That makes me king of the lunchpail player's club for the weekend.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July. Celebrate what freedoms we haven't had taken from us. In the manner of the ancient Greeks you might want to pour a libation on the ground for all the homies who didn't make it:

Haebeas Corpus
Due Process
Privacy
No Cruel or Unusual Punishment

No, wait, that's a bad idea. If we started pouring libations for lost freedoms we'd all die of thirst.
